Did you know that 79% of the adult population in the world has at least 1 chronic disease? And half of the adult population has 2 or more chronic conditions! These are truly alarming statistics. But there is hope.

And that is the goal of the Healthy for Life Summit – we are a group of certified health coaches in Asia who wants to share useful tips to help every person in this community to stay Healthy for Life – from the individual to the members of your family.

We believe in taking an integrative approach to health focusing on three important aspects: nutrition, physical activity and behavioral modification. We emphasize on bio-individuality, which is the concept that what works for one person doesn’t always work for another. That’s why as health coaches, we are never going to “prescribe” a diet plan for someone, or create strict guidelines by which our clients must follow. Instead, we seek to act as a guide to health and wellness so that YOU can start to navigate what works for YOU.

But most importantly, we seek to overcome the BIGGEST hurdle for people to adopt healthy lifestyle habits – the perception that striving to be and to stay healthy is all PAIN before people see GAIN. 

So our mission is to show people – men, women, children – how much FUN getting healthy can be. How they can learn to enjoy eating all the healthylicious foods so much so that these become the first choice simply because they taste so good! What kind of exercises which they enjoy doing so
much so they become favorite past time activities and hobbies. And this is only possible with mindset change, something which our health coaches are expert in.

During the summit, we will reach out to all with informative talks giving invaluable tips; cooking classes with simple healthylicious recipes; fun workshops for mummies, daddies and the kids; interviews with experts, with latest health updates; as well as daily workshops for the corporate arena with strategies that can help staff overcome stress, increase productivity and develop a happy, healthy workforce.

The whole idea is to have FUN, FUN, FUN while we strive to stay healthy for life!

1. Kids Healthy for Life
This is the best time to cultivate healthy habits that will last for generations, and the responsibility starts with you the parents! Learn how to make healthy eating and lifestyle FUN for your kids. Learn what can nourish their brains and help them reach peak performance in their studies and in life. Learn how to overcome picky eating with unbeatable strategies so daily meals become great family bonding times instead of a battle field!

2. Healthy for Life Women
Although women now live longer than men; in many areas of health they experience earlier and more severe disease with poorer outcomes. Women also face more stress – an important cause of poor health – as they often have to balance career and family. They also may face unique health issues that are often not easily understood by their spouses.

3. Healthy for Life Men
Men may be the stronger sex, but when it comes to health, they are lagging behind. They die younger, fall ill at a younger age and have more chronic illnesses than women. They are also less likely to eat healthily although exercise may not be an issue with some, more likely to indulge in unhealthy lifestyle habits like heavy drinking and smoking and also less likely to seek professional help when needed.

4. Healthy for Life After 60
Who says getting sick is part and parcel of life and the aging process? Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to your health. At Health Coach, we realize that there is so much misinformation out there with regards to our health. People are getting sick and dying unnecessarily because they have
blinders around their eyes. Many things that they have been told were healthy and good for them are in fact killing them slowly. From the food they eat, to the water they drink to lifestyle habits and even what exercises are good for them. Our goal is to not only point you in the direction, but really to show you how you can not only add years to your life but life to your years!

5. Healthy for Life YOU
Your health today is a sum total of all the choices you have made in your life thus far. That being said, it is never too late to decide to make your choices going forward, MATTER. Whatever situation you are in right now – good or bad – you can decide which direction you want it to go – better or worse.
